  • Healing time varies, it’s different for everyone and dependent on how much work you got done. It can take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month! You’ll know it’s healed when it is no longer peeling or shiny and has the same texture & dullness as the rest of your skin.

  • You need to have a valid, government issued, photo ID. I also recommend bringing water, and a snack to keep yourself hydrated and prevent low blood sugar! Our shop can get a little chilly sometimes, so maybe a jacket as well if you get cold easily. :)

  • This depends on the amount of detail, the more detail the bigger it has to be! Keep in mind though, I will always print multiple sizes and prices for you to choose from, going from the smallest I’m willing to tattoo it and up from there. :)

  • At our studio, arms and legs (wrist to upper bicep, ankle to upper thigh) start at a base rate of $150 and go up from there. Anywhere else on the body, including hands and feet, start at a base of $160 and up. These minimum prices usually reflect super simple designs, like a heart, cross, smiley face, initials, etc.

  • I am totally comfortable packing solid color, and lining with color. :) Just not gradient/blending colors! If that is what you are wanting, there are a lot of other girls at Lilac I can recommend to you! Sometimes, I can do the linework and once it is healed, a color artist can do all the color you’re imagining!

  • Depending on the tattoo, I am comfortable touching up/reworking pieces. If it was done at another shop, there would be a charge. If it’s a tattoo I have previously done, I offer free touch ups UNLESS it is a hand or foot tattoo. Hands and feet have a much higher risk of falling out, and most likely have to be gone over multiple times. Because of that, I will charge the base $120 to touchup hand or foot tattoos.

  • I am not very experienced with cover ups, I’ve only really done like a blacked out heart on top of initials. If you are wanting a detailed cover up, I can totally forward you to one of the girls at our shop that is more experienced! :)
